Teddy Bear Motorcycle Poker Run
On June 6th , 2009, Ottawa Dodge will be holding their 2nd annual TEDDY BEAR MOTORCYCLE POKER RUN in support of the Doc & Woody Operating Room Project at CHEO.
What is
a Poker Run? Basically it is a rally race where each rider picks
a card at each check stop in an effort to obtain the best poker hand. The event will kick-off at 9:00 a.m. with registration, coffee,
donuts, announcements, route maps, etc., and (254 kilometres later) end back
at Ottawa Dodge for awards and a live band. At the half way point, Iroquois
Locks Park, a free B-B-Q lunch will be provided.
The winner this year is the person who gathers the most money in pledges and
second place goes to the high/best poker hand. As usual, lots of subsidiary
prizes will be handed out. Funds are raised through corporate sponsorships,
pledges, personal donations, rider and passenger fees and miscellaneous sales.
All proceeds go to CHEO.
Don’t miss the ride of the summer. Register now as our project is capped at
300 riders…plus passengers of course.
